Danielle Hardy (2000, Kansas City, MO) is a curated narrative photographer and creative producer coordinator at Converse. Through her images, Danielle longs to decipher the nuances of blackness and culture. She obsesses over crafting compositions that reveal this complex versatility through emotional storytelling. Her work centers on the intricate dynamics of human connection, both intra-personally and inter-personally, with a particular focus on how social constructs of race, class, and gender shape these relationships. She is deeply fascinated by the ways in which everyday experiences illuminate our shared vulnerabilities and the common threads of our flawed humanity, revealing the profound similarities that underpin our diverse lives. Her images often feature conceptualized movement and abstract posing, stemming from her dance background.

Danielle recently produced the festival-selected short film Dating Daze with MDM Productions and was awarded the grand prize at the University of Missouri’s Visual Arts and Design Showcase. In the last few months, she has work selected for The Photo Review 2024 Competition, chosen for the 16th Issue of Maake Magazine, and select for exhibit in Monad Agency's FORMAT: Women-Only Exhibition.
