As Far As We Could Get

As Far as We Could Get is a collaborative photographic series with fellow photographer Kylee Isom. “As Far as We Could Get,” is an appropriation and subversion of John Divola’s work of a similar title. This is series was born as a response to our frustration with the overturning of Roe V Wade. The question: is our current moment the ceiling of our progression? Is this as far as it goes?

The photos shine a light on us as women, just as women's rights are currently at the forefront of media coverage. We are running toward that shine. We're sprinting toward the light as fast as we can before the shadow of oppression englufs us all.
