Ancient Egypt is arguably the most interesting and oldest civilization in the world. Cairo and Luxor are two epicenters of this fascinating ancient history, making this destination not only a feast for the eyes but also a journey through time. With its distinguished legacy, Egypt proudly boasts the distinction of preserving the only surviving Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Amidst a treasure trove of statues, tombs, and enigmatic hieroglyphs, Egypt beckon you to experience its splendors.

During my time In Egypt, I had the pleasure of visiting an authentic, world-renowned rug school. Egypt is the number one exporter of these handcrafted rugs and one of the only places in the world that also have trade schools for students to build long-lasting skills for their future careers. One of the students even gifted me with a makeshift bracelet made of silk yarn as a souvenir. I live for new cultural experiences like these!
