This work, titled "Golden Air," is a non-narrative short film about the relationship between the black body and nature. I wanted to show the beauty of blackness in nature because connecting with nature is deemed a "white thing" in many black spaces. But this doesn’t make sense to me because we cultivated and made this land, which we call America. Our skin, hair, and aura came straight from the motherland of existence. We deserve to occupy our place in nature.
